◆GENERAL HARDWARE DISCLAIMER◆ Dings and scratches are inevitable on polished buckles depending on the energy of the dog. We won't replace a buckle because it has been scratched by dog use.Buckles have a spring mechanism which I recommend putting on and taking off with care to not break the spring. Buckles are guaranteed for up to 2 months so if it does break, we will gladly replace it, if the collar is returned to us within that time frame to us.

We showcase size charts in all our listings but if you have any doubts, please contact me before ordering. All our products are made-to-order and sizes can be adjusted to accommodate your dogs measurements.
NYLON/ RIBBON STYLES- Wash in cold water and lay flat to dry
VELVET STYLES - only wash if absolutely necessary. Recommend spraying with
ScotchGard and spot clean.
FABRIC STYLE - wash in cold water and lay flat to dry or if you dry in the dryer (low
heat recommended) Can be ironed flat.

3/8" buckles have a delicate spring mechanism that holds the snap in place but it will break if forced or taken off regularly. I don't recommend the 3/8" metal buckles for collars that are taken off regularly.
Velvet needs special care. I recommend spot cleaning and steam to soften velvet again. You can also spray scotchgard before use for extra protection ( not recommended for dogs with sensitive skin).
Our polished metal buckles/ hardware are stunning but not recommended for every dog. Depending on your dog, these buckles will start to lose their luster if not properly cared for.
- I do not recommend these buckles for active dogs or for water use.
- We use Zinc Die-Cast Flat Side-Release Buckles in different plated finishes.Our hardware is metal plated unless stated otherwise
If buckle develops scratches, dents, etc we consider this normal wear and tear.
Unfortunately, our collars are not indestructible, and the longevity of your item will depend on the behaviors of your dog and/or its playmates!
You know your dog and what items will be used for. The lighter the color, the more visible dirt and stains will be. I strongly recommend a darker color if your dog is active and plans to use collar/leash/harness daily. I also advise keeping away from our velvet collection. These items are made using velvet which is very soft and luxurious but it can also be difficult to clean especially if you order metal hardware. We can always give you a recommendation if you are unsure about the item you are looking to order :)

You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find slide-on tags for 3/8" wide collars! I wanted to add ID to my biothane slip leads and these tags were just the ticket.
