Mutts-n-Bones is my obsession. It is a combination of two things I love: Dogs and Fashion. When I adopted Chanel in 2007 it was difficult to find cute fancy dog collars that weren't overpriced. Using my background in apparel design and the fact that I owned a sewing machine, I decided to make her a new dog collar myself. One became two and Mutts-n-Bones was created.
I use a combination of materials. All collars are made using high quality nylon webbing. The designs come from printed grosgrain ribbons, jacquard ribbon, and on occasion cute cotton fabrics. I specialize in dogs collars and leashes but have quickly expanded into harnesses and custom designs. We make traditional collars as well as old school metal buckle designs and martingale.
My inspiration are my dogs and my family is my support team. In 2014 I decided to make MB my full time job after the birth of my son Noah. He is my motivation and pushes me to improve and expand. I love working from home and spending quality time with my children. Yes, I call my dogs my children :)
