• ENGRAVING all buckles are laser engraved. 3/8” buckles are engraved one line in the front and one line in the back unless told otherwise. If you specify Line 1 and Line 2. We stack the lines, line 1 on top and Line 2 on the bottom and will be engraved in the front. These buckles are tiny so two lines will look very small on the front but still legible. We recommend phone number be in a basic font to prevent issues with numbers not looking legible. The issue isn't always legibility but the font selected. DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately there are no refunds on personalized items so if you want to make sure the engraving/font is to your liking, please request a sample of inscription before ordering

◆GENERAL HARDWARE DISCLAIMER◆ Brass & Rose Gold hardware is plated so with time it will be begin to fade and lose it's gold color. Dings and scratches are inevitable on polished buckles depending on the energy of the dog. We won't replace a buckle because it has been scratched by dog use.Buckles have a spring mechanism which I recommend putting on and taking off with care to not break the spring. Buckles are guaranteed for up to 2 months so if it does break, we will gladly replace it, if the collar is returned to us within that time frame to us. -

Velvet Care Instructions

Metal Buckles / Hardware
Our polished metal buckles/ hardware are stunning but not recommended for every dog. Depending on your dog, these buckles will start to lose their luster if not properly cared for.
- I do not recommend these buckles for active dogs or for water use.
- We use Zinc Die-Cast Flat Side-Release Buckles in different plated finishes.Our hardware is metal plated unless stated otherwise
If buckle develops scratches, dents, etc we consider this normal wear and tear.
Unfortunately, our collars are not indestructible, and the longevity of your item will depend on the behaviors of your dog and/or its playmates!Will my item look dirty or stain easily?
You know your dog and what items will be used for. The lighter the color, the more visible dirt and stains will be. I strongly recommend a darker color if your dog is active and plans to use collar/leash/harness daily. I also advise keeping away from our velvet collection. These items are made using velvet which is very soft and luxurious but it can also be difficult to clean especially if you order metal hardware. We can always give you a recommendation if you are unsure about the item you are looking to order :)

Everything about my transaction with this person was awful. The metal dainty collar clasps are junk. While there is a disclaimer, if you don't read it, you are out of luck. If there is a disclaimer, there should be a checkbox or something that ensures customer reads especially when it pertains to a key expectation for functionality of a dog collar - the opening/closing function. The seller agreed to exchange the nickel buckles to plastic - I chose black plastic for this one and silver for another after mailing back. Seller out of black, chose blue (not even an option stated) & mailed to me. Etsy closed my case claiming I received what I paid for but I didn't at all. How is ordering nickel, responding to seller with black (no option for blue buckle) and then receiving a blue buckle getting what I paid for!
